Fairhaven Meadows Apartments Breaks Ground in Brevard August 5

RALEIGH— On August 5, a groundbreaking ceremony will be held for Fairhaven Meadows in Brevard. Fairhaven Meadows will provide 42 new apartments to working individuals and families making 40–70% of the area’s median income.

Developed by Commonwealth Development Corporation, Fairhaven Meadows was financed with federal Housing Credits allocated by the NC Housing Finance Agency. 

“North Carolina is facing a shortage of affordable housing and this is especially true in communities that have been impacted by natural disasters,” said Scott Farmer, NC Housing Finance Agency executive director. “Fairhaven Meadows will help address the housing shortage that citizens in this area continue to face.”
